DO NOT TRUST

I havent had digit but maybe one month, but it was taking out 2 withdrawals a day and sometimes more. My average was .45 days between savings transaction. My balance would never match whats been taken out of my account. I submitted a cancellation of my account and transactions are still being debited from my bank account. Even before cancellation ...when I commanded it to "pause" for 30 days while everything was sorted out ....it still took money out. For that this app is not trustworthy. Never again.

Sad...

I really wanted to try this after reading other reviews, but unfortunately it doesnt support my bank. Please hurry and add it to the list. I submitted a note as suggested.

Awesome app

Its been great so far, very easy to use. Its saved $55 for me within 2 weeks & I never noticed it. This is a great tool in creating an emergency fund, saving up for a big expense, etc. By far the easiest way to save away money!

Dont waste your money

Digit overdrawn my bank account, and after trying to contact them 3 times never got a response from them. Very unresponsive and unprofessional service. Just dont waste your time and money.

Mindless savings for the win

Im horrible at saving money. Digit transfers small amounts of money out of my account a few times a week and I dont even notice it.

Cream of the crop!

This app is definitely superior than all other automatic savings apps I have tried. This is only the first year it has been out to the public, Digit can only go up from here! Although it is not perfect; Loses connection with bank relatively frequently & needs more creative entertainment, it is by far the best and most simple way to save.

Good advice here

I love this app. Im a college student, my checking account rarely has more than $50 in it at a time, and I was able to set it so that if my checking is $20 or below it wont withdraw any money until it goes back above that amount. Ive only saved $11 so far, but thats $11 I wouldnt have thought Id be able to save without the app. It hasnt overdrawn once in the month Ive had it because I have it set to take out maybe $0.50 a day and I have the safety net of $20 or less means no withdrawing. I seriously recommend this to people who just cant figure out how to save any cash. Im using this to save up for unexpected emergencies as well as school in the future.

I love this app!

Digit makes it so easy to save. Ive been using it for a few months now and its been nothing but great!

Great app

I needed something like this for my wife and me. In less than a year I have $4500 and havent missed it at all.

Favorite

I love this app so far its saved me about $250 over the past two months alone

Great app!

This is one of the best apps I have installed on my phone. Its so easy to use. Saved for a trip with this app, and I had money left over. I love this app!

Effortless Savings

Digit is my favorite app! At first I was skeptical in giving my banking info to a robot, but this is amazing! Digits formula prevents any overages in your checking account. Just a few dollars here and there is unnoticeable and weekly texts keep me informed of our bank and digit balances. Give it a try, you wont be sorry!

Taking my money

Im a high school student so I dont have much money. At first this app was great, saving around 20-something cents per week. I could withdraw instantly and it was fine. Several months later, after Ive forgotten all about this app, it starts saving 2-something dollars PER DAY. I try to withdraw the money to buy school supplies and it says I have to wait 3 days. So I got really mad and decided to close the account. Well the first withdrawal is still pending and its "saved" more since. I try to withdraw that and it says the balance is pending. So now I cant even close the account because it has my money. This is the worst app ever, especially if youre a student and dont have a lot of money.

Saved over $1500 over last few months

I love this app, and how it allows you to watch your savings build up automatically. I have always had difficulty saving, so this is a great solution. I also like how you can change how aggressively (or not) the app saves for you. The only thing that could make it better would be if the account were a high interest savings account, but you can always withdraw the money and transfer it into a separate account once you feel you have enough to make it worthwhile.

Review after 8 months

Im finally getting around to review this app. Over the last 8 months I have saved around 1,500 total. I tend to save up about 200-300 then withdraw it to my checking account. The amount digit takes out of your account is really not noticeable. Sometimes it will be $1-5 a day or sometimes it will be $20 every two days or so. It really all depends on how much money is in your checking account to begin with. Digit has never made me overdraw my account, in fact a few times I noticed digit would pause savings until there was a certain amount in my account. Great app and I use this in conjunction with another app (same concept) so I get to double the amount I save. Highly recommend!

The key to personal finance

One of the most critical elements of developing a strong personal financial situation is saving. But its also one of the most difficult. Digit makes it extremely easy to begin saving, and before long youll have saved more than you could have imagined! Put to use on a regular basis (such as investing the Digit balance every quarter or every year), or even just kept in the Digit account, your money is being saved and helping to position you to be financially healthy for the future. Digit is an amazing application, and I cant recommend it highly enough!

Best App Ever!!!

I love this app, it has helped me save money. It saves money for you without you noticing, next thing you know you have $40 saved. You can withdraw the money whenever you like, its super easy to use. I highly recommend getting this app.

I absolutely love this app!

Its a great way to save money. Better then a savings account. Its a way to hide money from yourself but still know whats there when you wake up every morning. Though I wish it would ask me if taking that small amount that it takes is okay in text messages before taking it.

Needs more options

It started out great and I was super happy with everything, but then it started to withdraw $20 at a time while many bills were still spending! I wish there was a way to make a withdraw limit. As in no more than $(?) at a time. Good app, needs a little work

Saving without thinking!

At first I loved it. I saved a lot over the last couple months. And then for the entire last two months it has been texting me and prompting me to reconnect because a connection has been lost. Ive contacted support twice with absolutely no help. I unconnected and tried to reconnect and it will not leave the loading page. This used to be a good app but is really annoying and useless now. Wait to download it once theyve improved their software and dont waste your time!!
